The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the T20 squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka on Tuesday. Earlier, the National Cricket Selection committee headed by former Pakistan captain and chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq selected 16 players for the upcoming T20 series against Sri Lanka. The T20 series is commencing on October 26 in Abu Dhabi and the final match of the series will be played in Lahore on October 29.
The Pakistan all-rounder Muhammad Hafeez makes a come-back in the squad. He played his last T20I against West Indies at Bridgetown on March 26, 2017 and scored 5 runs of 12 balls. Muhammad Amir is also picked subject to clearing the fitness test. He is rested in the ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka because of his right shin injury.
PCB has put the tickets on sale on all seven enclosures of Gaddafi Stadium Lahore that will host the last match of the series.
